How to identify a fake Facebook profile

Now a days, there is a trend of making a fake Facebook profile & goof up people. We can follow these simple steps to identify the authenticity of the profile:-

• One profile picture :Generally the fake profiles has only one profile picture
• No status update-The biggest clue to catch a fake profile is the status update. No updates are posted by these id’s for a long time, neither comments are made on a friend’s status
• Recent activities: One can identify the fake profile by recent activity. If the user is only adding friends and has not joined any page or a group, the chances are high that it is fake.
• Friend list: By checking friend list, we can easily find the reality of the profile. If people with profane pictures are present, it is a cue that the id is fake
• Check the ‘about’ section: If the user has not given the general information like work & education, family & education, etc, there is a high chance that the profile is fake
• Check the interested in section & birthday: Fake profiles generally show interested in both the genders and show their age as very young so that more and more people can be attracted
• Mobile no : Generally people avoid sharing their mobile no on the social media, but fake profile share it easily
• No replies & comments: If the user has not replied to the posts/compliments, it is fake one.
• No app used: Fake profiles don’t use any app or play games.
• Google image search: Do the google image search for finding the reality of the profile.
